TERMS OF THE COMPETITION OF PROPOSALS “AN ALTARPIECE FOR THIS MILLENNIUM”
The Basilica of Santa Maria del Pi announces a competition to choose the best drawings made by the students of the schools that have participated in the School Activity “The Basilica and the Bell Tower of Santa Maria del Pi”.
Students may participate individually or in groups up to a maximum of 4 people.
Proposals must be submitted in digital format in Din A3 vertical or horizontal format and must be sent together with an e-mail to email@example.com
Proposals may only be submitted in PDF and JPG format. Documents may not exceed 8 Mb
Any manual or digital drawing technique may be used.
The proposal must include the following titles:
– in the centre of the altarpiece, presided over by the image of the Virgin of Pi
– to the right of the image of the Virgin of Pi, the image of San José Oriol
– to the left of the image of the Virgin of Pi, the image of Santa Joaquina de Vedruna
The admission of proposals is effective from the moment of publication of these rules until June 22, 2015.
A jury will choose the winning drawing, valuing the imagination, originality and artistic value of the proposals.
The winning proposal will be published on this website from 1 July 2015.
The members of the jury, made up of a minimum of three and a maximum of five persons, will be appointed by the Basilica of Santa Maria del Pi.
The participation in the competition implies the cession by each individual or group participant, in favour of the Basilica of Santa Maria del Pi, of the rights of reproduction, use, public distribution and transformation of the proposals. The personal data of the participants may appear in the communications and on this website, as well as in any other action that the Basilica of Santa Maria del Pi considers carrying out. The submission of the drawings implies the prior acceptance of these rules by the participants.
The individual or group participant who wins the contest will receive as a prize a full guided tour of the Basilica of Santa Maria del Pi for themselves and for the accompanying persons they designate up to a maximum of 5 accompanying persons per person awarded.
There is no limit to the number of proposals per individual or group participant.
